11 Frequent Fliers Share Their Go-to Travel Essentials — and They’re All Under $50 at Amazon

Amazon is a vast world for travel products; from bags and luggage to electronics and destination-specific gear, there’s something for any type of trip. But when it comes to narrowing down items for every trip, frequent fliers know that there are a few key travel essentials that warrant a permanent place in their suitcase.

Personally, I never leave home without a silk pillowcase, and Blissy is my tried-and-true favorite. I recommend getting it in a vivid color so you don’t accidentally leave it behind at your hotel (speaking from experience!). The silk material is multi-faceted: it regulates my temperature while sleeping, ensures I don’t wake up with creases on my face (particularly important when I’m running behind after I hit snooze thanks to jetlag), reduces my acne from fragrant hotel detergents (even at the most luxe establishment, my skin is super sensitive) and it keeps my blow out for multiple days. “For long-haul flights, I never travel without my inflatable footrest because I simply cannot fall asleep with my hips tilted forward,” shares Nicole Kliest, a freelance writer who travels up to four times a month. “Is it slightly inelegant to blow up said footrest next to a stranger à la pool toy?
