Nashville’s newest hotel officially opened this week in Hillsboro Village, bringing a design-forward boutique stay to one of Music City’s most walkable neighborhoods.
The Chloe Nashville occupies two restored 1920s craftsman cottages, which now house 19 guest rooms and suites, along with an all-day restaurant, three bar spaces, and an outdoor pool and garden.
It’s the first Tennessee hotel from Robért LeBlanc and LeBlanc + Smith, the New Orleans hospitality group behind sibling properties The Celestine and The Chloe New Orleans (a 2021 Travel + Leisure It List winner). For Nashville, the address comes with built-in lore. The cottages once housed the headquarters of Asylum Records and Spirit Music, where country artists like Chris Stapleton and Luke Combs recorded songs—a creative legacy that now subtly informs the guest experience.

“While our building and heritage are rooted in early 20th-century Nashville architecture and history, our art installations, playlists, food and beverage offerings, and hospitality will celebrate an authentic sense of 21st-century Nashville,” LeBlanc tells T+L. “Through our design and personalized hospitality, we aim to make each guest feel completely at home here—almost more like they’re staying in a luxury Nashville apartment than a hotel.”
New Orleans designer Sara Costello preserved original architectural details like exposed brick floors, vintage fireplaces, and antique windows, and paired them with contemporary pieces and curated art. Nashville interior designer Alyssa Spyridon helped shape the aesthetic, sourcing furnishings, decor, lighting, and art from local antique dealers and showrooms.

A playful coyote motif threads through the property, inspired by the real-life coyote once found perched on a sink in a bathroom at Nashville’s Music City Center—an image that became an unlikely design muse. In the guestrooms, the details keep the mood equal parts polished and personal. Alongside custom robes by Lekha and Oxalis & Wonder Valley bath products, rooms come with record players, inviting guests to select from the vinyl collection in the hotel’s listening library.
The culinary offerings are designed to draw both guests and locals. Chef Matt Regan, whose background includes New Orleans restaurants such as Sylvain and Emeril’s, oversees the all-day eatery with a menu that nods to Southern tradition through a modern lens. Breakfast runs from fried chicken biscuits to green smoothies, while dinner spans seafood salads, roast duck, and double-stack burgers. The bar program spotlights Tennessee whiskeys alongside classic cocktails and house creations across the hotel’s three distinct bar spaces.

Between the restaurant, bars, pool, and gardens, The Chloe Nashville aims to be as much a neighborhood hangout as a hotel. Regular programming is slated to include fireside conversations, creative workshops, artist pop-ups, and live music performances.
“While staying on the property can be an oasis where you can get lost enjoying various experiences, we also want to offer a true sense of what it’s like to live here,” LeBlanc says. “From engaging with our Nashville friends and neighbors at the restaurant, bar, and pool to exploring Hillsboro Village and nearby restaurants, bars, music venues, and shops—we want guests to have the opportunity to experience the city as residents do.”
