Detroit’s Evans Terminal is about to get busier.
Fresh out of bankruptcy protection, Spirit Airlines is expanding their service at The Motor City’s Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) by adding 15 new and returning nonstop routes. For Spirit devotees, this brings their routes from Detroit to 40 destinations, which is the most they’ve ever offered from DTW.
“We’re adding even more popular travel options to our Detroit route map, giving our DTW Guests a variety of new destinations to discover across the country and beyond,” said John Kirby, vice president of network planning at Spirit Airlines in a press release. “Savvy Motor City travelers will soon enjoy even more options to enjoy Spirit’s elevated experience at a value unmatched by other carriers.”
The new routes at DTW include:
