These Comfy Sneakers Kept My Feet Pain-free After 13 Hours and 10 Miles of Walking—and They're Just $34

The best piece of advice I ever got about spending a day at Disney? Don’t wear brand-new shoes. The idea is simple: you don’t want to risk blisters or discomfort when you’re on your feet for hours. But that advice went out the window when I spotted the perfect pair of walking shoes to match my Disney outfit.

From the colorblocking featuring pink, mustard yellow, and slate blue to the simple, stylish design, they were everything I was looking for in a pair of travel sneakers. I slipped my tried-and-true Under Armour shoes into my bag, just in case, and laced up my new Rocket Dogs for the airport. I couldn’t wait to wear them, and I wanted to do at least a short test run before our day at Disneyland. 

For our short, direct flight to Los Angeles, I wore the sneakers with my favorite leggings, an oversized T-shirt, and a denim jacket—my favorite combination for flying. But you could wear these sneakers with everything from leggings to shorts to a simple dress. What really sold me, though, was the plush foam insole. It offers cloud-like cushioning that molds to the shape of your foot, providing both support and comfort for all-day wear. I won’t lie, I was a little nervous about wearing them all day chasing my toddlers and waiting in lines, but the plush foam insole quickly put my doubts to rest. After 13 hours of walking around and waiting in lines at Disneyland, my feet were still feeling great—a little tired but no pain at all! I put 10 miles on those shoes that day, and I would do it again.

While I still think breaking in shoes before heading to Disneyland is the safest move, I don’t regret breaking that rule for the comfort and style the Rocket Dog Cheery Sneakers provided. I’ve worn them at least once a week every day since our trip, and I still can’t get over how comfortable they are. In fact, they’ve replaced my beloved Under Armour shoes as my favorite travel shoes.
