From a three-continent hopping adventure from Kyoto to Marrakech to a deep-dive into Southeast Asia, Aman Jet Expeditions has been hosting the most lusciously luxurious trips through Asia and beyond for the most discerning travelers for the last decade through a collaboration between Aman and Remote Lands. Now, to toast the 10th anniversary of the collaboration, a new 12-night journey will debut this year, taking 18 travelers to four variegated Asian destinations.
The exclusive Cities to Tropics trip takes off on Dec. 7, 2025, in Kyoto, Japan, and ends on Dec. 19 in Ubud, Indonesia. Especially exciting, this marks the first time in nearly four years that one of the company’s jet journeys will include a stop in China.
Along the way, guests will be treated to the finest level of service, including flying in a custom-outfitted spacious private Airbus ACJ 319 aircraft (or similar, pending availability) with two main cabins, as well as staying three nights at Aman properties in each city.
That includes the calm garden setting of Aman Kyoto; the ancient-meets-modern villas of Amanyangyun in Shanghai; the private island oasis of Amanpulo in Palawan, Philippines; and the intimate retreat of Amandari in Bali, among the terraced rice paddies and stunning gorges.
The experiences in each destination are equally diverse. On the agenda in Kyoto are Zen meditation practices, an evening of geisha performance, and a traditional tea ceremony. The stop in Shanghai includes Chinese calligraphy lessons, an urban walking tour, and a day trip to Hangzhou by high-speed rail to cruise the UNESCO World Heritage Site, West Lake.
After hopping over to the Philippines, the adventures include stargazing and animal encounters like snorkeling with green sea turtles. The grand finale in Bali entails a private blessing ceremony among the rice terraces, a healing session with a foot massage, and a helicopter ride over Mount Batur, catching views of the Ayung River.
With limited spots and the most indulgent and private experiences at every turn, the 12-night trip starts at $188,888 per person, reflecting the lucky number 8 in Asian cultures.
In addition to the celebratory new itinerary, the company will also host a departure of its popular The Grandest Tour taking off next month, from April 19 to May 9, 2025. Other Aman Jet Expeditions journeys this year include Around the World in Three Continents from Sept. 7 to Sept. 25 and Discover Southeast Asia from Nov. 2 to Nov. 15.
